According to the interview, Christine grew up in a Christian family and was raised to live according to Christian values. These values, however, did not have an impact on how she lived because she was young and naive. Her naivety led her to a relationship that resulted in a pregnancy at 20 years.

Although she was a Christian she thought of abortion and went to buy plan b pills and took one piece. She freaked out and threw the other piece. Christine talked to the father of the child, who asked her to have an abortion. After rejecting her offer, the father later called and offered her $50,000 for an abortion. Yeargin rejected and had the child months later. In the interview, Christine stated that the child’s father’s decision to abortion was made out of fear and wrong advice from friends. Now, the father is grateful that she had the child. He is also involved with the child’s growth.
