Most of us enjoy the performance of pastors and worship leaders but few of us are aware of the price they had to pay to be that good or the painful life experiences they’ve had. In this article, we go deep into the story of worship leader and pastor Cristabel Clack. She is a singer, songwriter and worship pastor at Reformation Memphis alongside her husband Brandon Clack.
She was born on 29th July 1984. Cristabel was born into ahighly musical family. She is the sister to Isabel Davis, a stellar award-winning gospel musician. Cristabel’s passion for music led her to the handS of Brandon Clack in high school. The two became close friends and later on married. In 2023, they will be celebrating 18 years of marriage. The two have been blessed with 4 children, one child passed on.
CristabEL grew up in a family passionate about music. This background naturally led her to be passionate about music. One time the music became an obligation but things quickly changed when she had an encounter with the holy spirit. Since getting the privilege of encountering God, she has made Him a priority in her life.
Cristabel Clack Career
Unlike other talented singers, Cristable never coveted the center stage. She served as a background singer for artists like Israel and New Breed, William McDowell. In 2012, she audition in American Idol season 12. At the end of the competition, she finished among the top 20 ladies.
Since competition in American Idols, doors and more started opening for her. The singer got invitations to sing at churches and worship conferences across the country. In 2017, she moved with her husband to Memphis to as lead pastor for All Nations Worship Assembly. They led the church for 5 years and founded their own independent church, Reformation Memphis in 2023.
Cristabel’s journey has been one of discovering the power of God. Many times she thought God had given up on her, but He came through in a mighty way. The death of her daughter Zoey was one of the family’s most trying. Despite serving God for years, Cristabel tragically lost her daughter after she was born with birth defects. In her misery, God spoke to her, and her family was revived. They authored a book Hope After Loss: By Zoey’s Parents to share with the world their testimony of victory after going through the pain of losing their child.
Now, Cristabel is more zealous to serve God than before. She is the lead pastor of a church that is barely a year old. The young pastor has the experience of leading a church and with this, she has the potential of leading people to God and edify them so that they can be the hands and the feet of God. Her desire to is replace herself.
