Deneige Broom, 35 or 36, is an American media personality currently working as the morning anchor for Eyewitness News on WSOC-TV. She was popular for giving her fans traffic updates until she joined WSOC. Prior to working in this position, Broom worked at Fox 26, WFTV, and interned at ESPNU as a reporter and anchor.

Broom was born on 27th February 1986/87 in Orlando and Grew up in Seminole. She is the firstborn and the only lady in a family of four children. She celebrated her 35/6th Birthday in 2022.

Her breakthrough came in 2009 when she joined WCTV first as a Valdosta Bureau Reporter and an Anchor 9 months later. She left the media network and joined WFTV as a reporter, a position she would occupy for 4 years. Broom later joined KRIV-FOX 26 as an anchor for 2 years before returning to Channel 9 as a News and Traffic anchor.
On January 3rd, 2022, Broom announced to her fans that she would be leaving Channel 9 WFTV for their sister station WSOC-TV in Eyewitness News as the Morning News Anchor.
Throughout her journalism career, Broom has covered events that have had national and international attention. Broom covered the pro-pulse nightclub shooting and the trial and sentencing of George Zimmerman who was convicted for the shooting and murdering Trayvon Martin.
The reporter was instrumental in covering the historic floods that hit Florida, The death of former United States President George H.W. Bush, and his wife Barbara, and various crimes in the United States. At WCTV she spent most of her career covering the Tallahassee market.
In recent times, she has been involved in covering groundbreaking stories such as the discovery of new drugs that can treat cancer better than chemotherapy. She also did a story on the impact of diabetes on Black women and social welfare stories such as the nonprofit organizations in Charlotte helping people to get back on their feet.
