After 3 years of experience, Erin was ready to take on bigger roles. She was an anchor during the weekends and a reporter during weekdays. Erin also assisted in production, writing scripts, and communicating with locals. In 2020, she was called at Nexstar Media Group as a Morning News anchor for WCBD. She took that role for 2 years and later was promoted as a News Anchor and Reporter.

She did coverage on an inmate and accused prisoner who has escaped from prison, Erin did stories on devastating natural calamities such as Hurricane Michael which struck the country, she also covered the impact of the pandemic on the economy and the strategies the government had done to restore it.
