Gia Chacon Biography

Christianity might have spread to one-third of the population of the world but persecution towards believers of the religion is still as heinous as it was in the first century. The majority of Christians are unaware of the atrocities their fellow believers go through, especially in countries intolerant of other religions. Gia Chacon has dedicated her life to revealing to the world and creating awareness of the challenges Christians in different countries go through.

She has revealed Christian persecution in Islamic nations, Asia, Africa, and even in the United States. Her boldness has earned her influence across the media where she gets invited to share her views of what is happening in the Christian community where the majority may be unaware of.

Personal Details

Gia Chacon was born on 29th November 1995 in Orange Country, California. She is one of the six children born to her parents. Chacon grew up in a staunch Catholic family and like her parents has continued standing firm for the faith. Her service to the Lord has been her preoccupation since she decided to work for Jesus. Her support for families and heterosexual relationships is clear because she is pro-life. We have, however, observed that she is single.

From Corporate World to Service to God

Gia Chacon lived like an ordinary American. She was also lukewarm in her Christian life because she loved some aspects of the world life. Her life began to take a gradual turn when she felt a deep void within her despite having a job as a manager in a cosmetic company.

Her life changed drastically when she went on a missionary trip with her grandmother to Egypt. For the first time, she experienced young people going through persecution for their stand in Christianity. It was her first time to see how far people were ready to go for Jesus and this reality completely shifted her mindset. While in Egypt, she gave her life to Christ and decided to serve the Lord for the rest of her life.

Unlike those who serve the Lord in the Church, Gia Chacon’s pulpit of service has been raising the voice for Christians going through persecution around the world. Gia founded For The Martyrs, an organization that creates awareness of the persecution of Christians, advocates for freedom of religion, and aids Christians in America and around the world. The organization has an annual event called March for the Martyrs on 24th September that brings together Christians showing their support for those going through persecution.

She has raised awareness of professors who intentionally fail students in their exams because they are Christians and professors who get fired from their jobs because they stand for Jesus.

Cases of Christian Persecution

She has also been vocal about Christian persecution across countries in the world. She has traveled to Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa to experience firsthand persecution of people who believe in Jesus. Gia Chacon has revealed that the 10 most dangerous countries to live in as a Christian in 2023 are North Korea, Somalia, Yemen, Eritrea, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, and Sudan.

Chacon has also blamed the persecution of Christians as the reason for the population decrease of Assyrians in Iraq. She claims that the population of Assyrians has diminished by 80% in the last 20 years to 150,000 due to planned genocide.

On Twitter, she stated that her interviewer with the leader of Hamas revealed that the the Hamas’ main agenda is to kill Jews and Israelis

Gia has also revealed the case of 140 Christians killed by Muslim Herders in Nigeria on Christmas Eve in 2023. She stated that the attack on the Christians while in their homes and during the time of the festive was calculated and deliberate by the Muslim Community.

Gia Chacon’s boldness to speak up for the Christians has earned her acclimation and support from many believers. In 2020, she was honored with the title of Dame of the Order of Michael the Archangel by His Royal Highness Prince Gharios El Chemor. She regularly gets invited to media networks and podcasts to share her views on Christian experiences worldwide. Her work has not gone without criticism as others oppose her cause claiming she is fighting for the wrong belief.

A person like Nadia Khaled, a social media influencer, can be said to be opposing Gia’s cause because she is a supporter of Palestine. Regardless, Gia has her foot firmly established in what she believes God called her to do.  She has joined other bold figures like Jaco Booyens who is another Christian creating awareness of cases of human trafficking around the world.
