In an interview with Voyage, Joelle explained the achievement was unbelievable having been 18 years old only.
Succeeding as a musician, sparked a desire to learn more about music. She applied and got selected among the team of singers and songwriters at the Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industries in Norway. After graduating, she started working as an assistant to one of the mentors she met at LIMPI. Being an assistant was overwhelming as it ate the time to build herself. A year later, she quit the job and started doing short videos on Tik Tok. It took a lot of courage to do the videos, Joelle explained to Pulse in an interview, as she feared how the public would respond. Her courageous act, however, was well received as the response was positive. She once did a tik tok that went viral, garnering more than 2 million views.
The numbers on Tik Tok gave her the confidence to do music. On 4th March 2021, she released her debut single Emergency Contact. Since then, Haley has been realizing hit after hit, sending a gesture to other musicians of her arrival. She has more than 1 million listeners on Spotify. Her other songs are Memory Lane, Two Place at Once, Jealous of Paris, and Brave Face.
