One of Kym Lee King’s attributes is her ability to be vulnerable with her followers. She has been open about her 12-year struggle with Fibroids before she had her uterus removed in a hysterectomy surgery. Before the decision to do the surgery, Kym Lee struggled with bleeding 22 days out of 30 days a month.
She struggled with embarrassment and low self-esteem because she could not reveal to her friends her struggles. Her decision to have the uterus removed was her only solution to save herself and her family from mental torture. She joined the US Fibroids Center to share her story and to encourage other women going through the same.
Weight Loss Journey
Another of her vulnerable stories is her weight loss journey. For a major part of her life, Kym Lee King struggled with excess weight. She had a back liposuction procedure to have the fat removed but her body made more fat after she had the hysterectomy surgery. She had another liposuction surgery and went live on Instagram when the doctor was doing the open surgery.
Kym Lee King followed through the process by eating clean, doing 3 lymphatic massages, and working out at least 3 times a week. Now, it is more than 1 year since she went through the surgery. Dr. Kym has been able to maintain a regular weight for a woman like her by following the routine exercise.
Her journey has been full of ups and downs but through her faith in God, Kym Lee has been able to conquer all challenges. She has beat Fibroids, is overweight, and has been in the makeup business for more than 30 years.
