The goal of becoming a journalist started when she was a young girl. Fee went to Geneva Community High School where she got familiar with anchoring, reporting, and producing live broadcasts and creating her stories which garnered more than 2500 views daily.
Aside from journalism, Megan is also passionate about figure skating, which she has practiced for 13 years. She has won 6 national medals in Solo Dance, 4-time gold medalist in US Figure Skating, and was Champion in the 2017 international Solo Dance. Her success in figure skating proved her commitment and drive to succeed.
In 2018, she joined The University of Texas at Austin for a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a Bachelor of Journalism with a minor in Business. Megan was the anchor, reporter, writer, and producer of the school News Channel, Texas News Channel Show. She gained experience in anchoring, floor directing, and scriptwriting. Megan covered stories in school, Austin, and neighboring areas.
In 2020, she got an opportunity to partner with Nike on a project called Move. She represented Nike on campus as a brand ambassador, student leader, and mentor for physical activity. She got an experience with Nike marketing experts and project managers.
Megan got her first journalist opportunity as an intern at KXAN TV. She learned to pitch stories, edit news packages and write scripts, and support reporters in the field by conducting interviews and sharing editing techniques. After 5 months she got a part-time job at UT RecSports as a corporate producer. In July 2022, she got a job as a morning traffic anchor and reporter at WCBD News.
Megan has a transport miniseries called What drives you crazy? In the series, she covers situations on the roads that make driving exciting or excruciating. She has covered topics like Drivers nor using turn signals, slowpokes in the left lane, people not using their headlights properly and potholes.
