Miss Trudy, whose real name is Gertrude Awino Njeri Juma, is a Kenyan YouTuber, content creator, and CEO of Trumedia. She is a travel vlogger focused on unveiling the beautiful side of Africa, restaurants, cultures and life in African cities. The YouTuber has covered Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Bujumbura, and some inspiring stories about Africans.

Growing up, Trudy did not have the lavish life she displays today. She was born on 12th May and raised in Kisumu with her two siblings. Unfortunately, her mother passed away leaving the house under the care of her husband. Trudy’s father picked the mantle and took care of his children the best way he could. Trudy started off in the sales and marketing business where she excelled. Unfortunately, she got fired when she was hoping for a promotion. Her YouTube journey began out of boredom. She started recording videos as she saw other people recording on YouTube. Her Channel gradually grew since many people were interested in her videos. Currently, Trudy is one of the most influential YouTubers in Kenya with 361k subscribers and a total of 43,931,244 views.

Her YouTube is relatable to many people, explaining its constant growth. Trudy talks about personal experiences like cooking Ghanaian food for her family in Kenya, flying her 93-year-old grandmother for the first time, meeting the Kenyan president, and buying their dream house. She is also personal about things happening in her life. Miss Trudy often opens up about her personal struggles with mental and emotional health.

She later started her company, Trumedia, in December 2021, with the hope of duplicating the success she has had in her personal channel. Her YouTube Channel makes her a decent income. In an interview with Nairobi News, Trudy said she makes $5,000 a month from her YouTube Channel.
