Nick Zammetti Bio

The world of art is an exciting one and anyone with a passion can do whatever they want. One artist to consider looking at is Nick Zametti. Like other artists, he is exceptional just as he is unique. His expertise is in woodturning.

In addition to his skills, Nick has a welcoming personality that keeps his audience engaged and entertained. Others have been asking about his personal and professional life. This curiosity led us to the internet and other sources to get this information. This is what we found.

Nick Zammetti is a professional woodturner, a television personality, and a vlogger on YouTube.  He is one of the cast in Mend it for Money, a TV program for Britain’s Best Menders and Makers. Through the program, Nick has met other artists in various fields and has got the opportunity to show his skills.  He is the founder of Makers Central. He also runs his YouTube channel called NZ Turnings.

Nick Zammetti Age, Family and Wife

Nick is an England native born on 20th June 1974. He is also married to the love of his life Anna, whom he confessed has been instrumental in his growth as an artist.

Zammeti has two children. The firstborn is Charlie Zammeti who was born in April 2005. Lucy Zammeti is the second child, born in 2007. Charlie, like his father, is an aspiring woodturner.  Zammeti Jr. has a YouTube Channel called Charlie the Maker where he displays some of his works.

Nick Zammeti Career

Zammeti is both an artist and a YouTuber. His YouTube channel is NZ Woodturning, which has almost 870,000 subscribers. Earlier he had no interest in woodwork. Seeing woodturning videos on YouTube sparked a desire for the job.

He began learning woodwork after his uncle, who is also a woodturner, encouraged him to try it.  Nick views his work as a hobby more than it is a job. Creating valuable items out of wood in its raw form is Zammet’s greatest source of inspiration. Mostly, he is unaware of the final look of the artwork but the complete work satisfies him.

Nick is the Founder and Producer of Makers Central, an event that brings together woodwork artists from all over the globe. The event has had a steady growth in attendance. The 2020-2021 event had 9,000 attendees up from 6,500 who attended the event in 2018-2019.

Zammeti is one of the restorers at Mend it for Money,  a TV program that focuses on the restoration of antiques and giving them new prices. The restoration experts compete against each other to get the job on the three projects featured in every episode.

The restorers create a plan for the projects in the hopes of being chosen. The show organizers expect the restorers to determine the profit they would make once they sell the restored item.

Restoration starts once the restores strike a profit share deal with the owners of the item. The show has 20 episodes aired from 4 to 5p.m during the weekdays.

Nick Zammetti YouTube and Net Worth

His YouTube channel is rich in some of the best work he has ever done. With more than 400 videos, viewers get a glimpse of his best creations.

He has videos where he restored wood items made 8 years ago. On YouTube, you will find a video where he customized his PlayStation 5 and another where he made resin stiletto shoes with lights. He also shares tips on how to become a better woodworker and the best machines to use as a woodworker.

Having a show and running a YouTube Channel has exposed him to potential customers from the United States and the United Kingdom.

With the customers and advertisements on YouTube, Nick is making money. From our observation, we can tell that Nick can make a salary of approximately $300,000 a year. He is one of the interesting artists we have covered on this site. Another interesting one we would recommend is Bisa Butler.
