Nyawira is married to Kenyan sensational gospel artist Moji Shortbaba whose real name is James Muhia. The two met in the church where they were serving. They became close friends for a little over two years before they started dating. The two got married on May 2020.
Nyawira Gachugi Career
In an interview with Youth Plus Radio, Ms. Understood as Nyawira is popularly known, learned to be confident from her parents who always asked her to talk when they visit a neighbor. This personality has been with her from college through to her career. She started at Daystar University where she pursued a degree in commerce and later went to the United States International University where she did a degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication.
Her career kicked off in 2017 when she was working as a part of the events organizing team for Mo Sounds Group. She worked there for 2 years before leaving for Taura Communication where she presently serves as a Lead Strategist. Alongside her job, Nyawira is a co-host for a KTN Home show called Friday Turn with Ben Cyco.
Nyawira is also the author of a devotional book called Long Post Alert. In the devotions, she encourages believers to actively study the word of God. Nyawira has also invited public figures like Kambua to tell their story of grief and Wanjiru Njiru.
