Tammy Hodges is an American Christian Woman popularly known as the wife of Pastor Christ Hodges. Hodges participates in the affairs of the Church by addressing issues that affect women and girls. She is also a huge supporter of marriage and offers advice on how to become a wife and how to sustain a marriage.
Tammy Hodges Husband
Tammy was born on 9th October. Hodges, 50 or 52, is married to Chris Hodges, the lead pastor at Church of the Highlands in Birmingham. Chris also founded Highlands College and the Growth Leader Conference. He is also the author of Out of the Cave, The Daniel Dilemma, What’s Next, and other books. The couple married in 1986 and are blessed with five children and 8 grandchildren.
Chris grew up in a Christian family but had his encounter with Jesus at the age of 15. This experience turned his life around. He had never thought of starting a ministry until he was convicted by the Holy Spirit to form the Church in May 2000 when he had visited a baseball tournament in Birmingham.
Together with a team of 34 people, Christ launched a church that attracted 600 people in the first year. 20 years later, Chris has been able to build a church that hosts 50,000 attendees on its multiple campuses. Chris is popular for growing his multi-million church from Cash instead of debts as practiced by other churches. As of 2016, the value of the Church was $86 million.
Tammy Hodges Family and Children
Some of Tammy’s children have followed their father’s footsteps. They have taken the leadership of the Church of Highlands Campus. Michael Hodges for instance was the leader of Greystone Campus Church.
However, he was stripped of his leadership and roles in the Church after he was accused of having immoral conduct. Chris Hodges announced the removal of his son from the Pastoral position of the Church and handed it to Charles Kelly.
David Hodges has also followed in his father’s footsteps. Together with his brother Michael, at the Church of Highlands Campus Church in Irondale. However, David left his father’s church to join Hillsong Church in Los Angeles where he serves as the Youth Minister.
Despite the success of the Family, Tammy remains a devoted woman. She is focused on keeping her family together and ensuring the family grows in peace and unity. She rarely participates in the affairs of the church However, she is active in the woman groups associated with the church and the respective campuses.
On some occasions, she participates in sharing with women and girls who need her perspective on issues that affect them. She also has a growing influence on social media. Her Instagram page has more than 100k followers. She has been able to attract that audience by feeding them content to which they relate. Other Christians doing well in spreading the gospel are Michael Koulianos and Lou Engle.
