Roberts is a Detroit, Michigan native. She was born on 8th January 1996. The 26-year-old holds a close relationship with God. Her faith is the building block of the principles she holds dear. Treasure Roberts Education
Growing up, Treasure wanted to live an extraordinary life. She chose journalism as her path toward getting that life. She went to Michigan State University where she pursued a degree in Journalism, Media, and Information. Quickly, she involved herself in organizations where she learned leadership and speaking skills. As a student, she practiced the ropes of journalism by interning at Life Oasis Church in the department of communication. Her responsibility was updating the church’s blog and writing scripts. She also tried her hand in WDRJ as a radio talk show host.
Treasure Roberts Career
Her greatest experience as an upcoming journalist was in December 2015 when she joined HOMTV as an intern reporter. There, Roberts got the opportunity to write news articles, produce a variety of news, and conduct interviews. She also interned at WLNS-TV as a reporter calling beats every morning and assisting other reporters, producers, and video journalists. In her final year at MSU, Roberts was the reporter for the MSU Focal Point News, where she was responsible for covering the campus and city-wide news. She conducted interviews with students and anchored different segments of the show.
Treasure got her first employment after graduation. She joined WMBD Channel 31. She started as a photographer and multimedia journalist. It did not take long before the company promoted her to the nightside reporter where she also served as a fill-in anchor and producer. In December 2020, Treasure announced on her Instagram that she had gotten a new job at WKMG News 6, a dream job she had for years. On her Instagram, she shared her excitement and challenge for rising to the next level.
Her time as a journalist has been associated with hard work and faith. She intentionally took every working opportunity she encountered. She knew beforehand they would prepare her for the person she would be in the future. All these worked well for her.

When Treasure is not working, she spends time with her friends and close family members. She also participates in community work as she is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic journalists. Treasure is active on social media. Her Instagram is a display is fashion and feminity. Although she is in the profession highly regarded by the public, Treasurer never shies away from wearing a bikini or braids while on TV.
