Coach Gessie Thompson grew up like many others. She went to school at Miami Central High School and at New York University where she did a degree in Music Business.
She started working as an assistant Account executive at Ketchum Public Relations for 6 years before moving to Jordan Entertainment Groups as a general manager tasked with developing operational systems and developing policies for driving efficiency in the organization.
While doing all this, Coach Gessie was running The Uplift Group, her talent booking and brand consulting firm working with other companies to make them successful.
Her journey in the entertainment world started when she was working for Verity Records and later moved to Universal Records.
Her most popular clients are gospel Hip Hop Artist Da’ T.R.U.T.H. and empowerment coach Felicia Scott. Gessie Thompson helped the hip-hop star get two Grammy awards, three stellar awards, and a GMA Dove nomination. She has also made appearances on BET, TBN, Source, and Essence.

Coach Gessie made appearances in T.D Jakes Megafest, HuffPost Live, The Breakfast Club, and The Tom Joyner Morning Show where she narrated her journey from infertility to motherhood and the problem of fibroid. Coach Gessie Thompson Infertility Journey
The battle with infertility and fibroids started in 2001 when a regular check-up revealed she had fibroids. After consulting with her gynecologist, Coach had the fibroids removed and her uterus left intact. Long battles with infertility followed after the myomectomy.
For five years, she suffered pain during sex, abdominal pain, and worse, the fibroids were back. She had a second myomectomy but still could conceive. In 2008, Marc and her wife opted for IVF which led to a short pregnancy that lasted for 9 weeks. She did two more IVFs but still, conception was unsuccessful.
As she was nearing 40, her family went on a period of stress because she was unable to balance her emotions due to the IVF. Her husband shut off emotionally as he addressed his desire to get a child. A word from her Godmother reconciled everything in the family. She prophetically declared that Gessie would have a child the following year.
Gessie held on to the prophetic word as she did the final IVF. She became pregnant. Coach held on to the pregnancy for weeks battling conditions like fetal restriction that almost had her aborting. On the 32nd week, doctors advised her to get a c-section, which she did. In 2011, just like the prophetic word, Coach delivered a baby girl, she named Nia Madison.

Gessie went vocal with her success story. She shared her 10-year struggle and her victory over fibroids. She made it her main concern to create awareness of Fibroids. Mrs. Thompson also became a health coach. She advises people to detox from consuming meals that put chemicals on the body. She is against products with phosphoric acid and tap water which she says contains chemical elements that are harmful to the body.
Coach Gessie Thompson encourages her audience to an acclaimed balance supplement called Mass which fights hormonal imbalance, cancer, thyroid issues, kidney stones, and fibroids.
