Coach Kelly J Biography

It takes a long time to make a lot of money and keep it. But it can take 30 days to develop a mindset that will make that money and hold even after you die. Coach Kelly J is the go-to person for the 30-day mindset training. She is a guru at coaching, and training, and a ninja at marketing. Before she developed the mind herself, Kelly was like the ordinary American until reality kicked on. She is now the host of Th Sweet Tea Podcast and the Founder of Natural Girls Rock.

Coach Kelly J Personal Life

Kelly is a North Carolina native born on 20th April 1973. The 50-year-old came from a poor background that survived on government issues. Despite coming from such a background, she learned from her Christian parent’s values and morals that shaped her adulthood. Kelly is now a married woman. She is a wife to AJ. whom she met on a blind date. Their marriage has been blessed with three children.

Kelly lived the typical American lifestyle. Her way out of a poor life was through excelling in education. All the way from high school to college, she worked her way as the best student. She did Criminal Justice and Psychology at North Carolina University and graduated Summa Cum Laude. With her two degrees, she became a civil servant in the Department of Justice.

Making of a Coach

Kelly counted herself privileged for making 6 figure salary. Her husband, a businessman, laughed at her for giving her services cheaply to other people. In 2010, she decided to do things on her own. The avenue she preferred was YouTube. Kelly started making natural hair content on YouTube. The content quickly turned to a physical boutique in Atlanta.

While running YouTube and the boutique, Kelly came across stories about things happening in her client’s life. She started getting emails from women across the world each asking about success. From these women’s needs, Kelly realized a gap to be capitalized on.

She trained in coaching and soon she became a certified one. Using her influence on social media, she created an online course that would help her clients. And as she had planned, these women started living a better life because of her advice. Their success led to more customers. As her customer base grew, her career titled changed to coach and mindset trainer.

She also started her own e-commerce business, Natural Girls Rock, a company centered on empowering women and selling fashionable apparel. As of 2023, Kelly has been running the business for more than 10  years.

She has also helped many businesses and continues to scale her own business. Unlike other coaches, Kelly describes herself as a surgeon coach. She dissects her client’s issues and removes whatever is ailing. Many of her clients have testimonies of achieving success after using her advice.

Success and Net Worth

One of the greatest advantages she has had as an entrepreneur is traveling around the world and spending time with her family. She has also been able to accumulate a net worth of approximately $50 million together with her husband.

Kelly is on this journey of empowering others alongside speakers like Emily Ford, Eileen Wilder, and Sarah Fontenot. Other than running her business and speaking at conferences, Coach Kelly also hosts The Sweet Tea Podcast, where she speaks about things she has learned in her personal life and steps to become successful in any business.
