Conner Smith  Biography

Conner Smith is an American country musician. He has worked closely with artists such as Ashley Gorley and Zach Crowell, who have been instrumental in shaping his future. He is popular for the song I hate Alabama.

Conner Smith Age

Conner celebrates, 21, celebrates his birthday on September 6. He is a Nashville native and grew up listening to popular country music artists. He comes from a family of lovers of music. His brother, Cooper Smith, is a producer and songwriter.  His mother Jennifer Vickey Smith and father Marty Smith have supported Coner throughout his career journey. They make an effort to attend events where he performs. Jennifer is a huge fan of country music. Her love for country music exposed Conner to what would become his preferred genre in music. Conner grew up listening to George Strait, the Judds, and Montgomery Gentry and his father was a fan of Kenny Chesney. Smith’s current love is music. As of 2022, he is single and free from relationships. Girlfriends and relationships are secondary to his career.

like most people, Smith saw education as a route to success. However, he felt like dropping out of high school until his friend encouraged him to finish school. He spent his high school life juggling as a songwriter and student. Upon graduating from Highschool he signed a record deal with Big Machine Label Group.

Conner Smith Career

Conner has been fascinated by music from a young age. He started writing songs when he was aged six years. His desire and passion earned him respect among country music fans. He proved himself among songwriters and the writing community. By the time he was 9 years old, Smith had signed with BMI as a writer.  He released his first two songs Learned from it and Tennessee in July 2021. The songs were an immediate success as thousands of fans have flocked to his online platforms and events to listen to the rising star. In 2021, he released I hate Alabama, his greatest hit so far. The song has more than 9 million plays on Spotify and close to 1 million views on YouTube. Intrestingly, the song was not to be released. It was written by his friend Hunter Phelps.

Smith made a video of it and put it on Instagram where he fans fell in love with it. Later, his label CEO Scott Borchetta later called him and said the song would be released in a week’s time. Despite the success of the song, Conner is not looking to stop any time soon. In 2022, he released an EP called Didn’t Go Too Far, whose lead song Learn From It made it on Bill Board top 40 in Country Airplay Category. Included in the EP are I Hate Alabama and Take it Slow. Corner is among the promising artist in the country music department. He joins other artists such as Julia Cole. Those asking for his height; Smith could be 5 feet and 8 inches tall.
