0 Dominic Brown Biography
Dominic Brown is by chance one of the greatest meteorologist reporters of this generation. His expertise and knowledge of weather patterns have earned him consulting opportunities and a certificate from the American Meteorological Society. Currently, he serving as a weather specialist at KTVT CBS 11. For close to 15 years, Brown has served as a meteorologist at WCTI, WTKR, WIS, and CBS.
Dominic Brown Age, Wife and Children
Mr. Brown was born on 3rd August 1983 in a small town called Locust Grove, Atlanta. He comes from a family with a close relationship. However, Brown lost his younger brother along the way. Mr. Brown was also a married man. His relationship with his wife ended in separation despite having two children, Carter and Alise.
Education and Career
Dominic has been a go-getter since childhood. The dream of becoming a journalist came clear as he grew up. The journalist studied at Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia for a course in journalism. Later he joined Mississippi State University to pursue a master’s degree in geosciences and broadcasts meteorology.
He began his career at WCTI TV and served as a meteorologist for 4 years and another 5 years at WTKR News 3. He joined WIS-TV in 2017 and became the chief Meteorologist for 4 years before joining KTVT in May 2022.
Throughout his time as a meteorologist, Dominic Brown has been recognized as the first black meteorologist at WCTI and WIS. Dominic was also on the front line covering many weather events in the country. He has covered Hurricane Matthew, Hurricane Irene and some of the worst tornadoes to be experienced in the country. Brown has distributed reliable information that helped his audience in making decisions. This has earned him several awards including multiple Emmy Awards. Like many other meteorologists, Dominic has been nicknamed “The Menace.”

Dominic also has a unique facial appearance. His left jaw protrudes a little more than his right jaw. This appearance makes his face unforgettable. Other than working, Dominic is also an outgoing person. He loves traveling and spending time with his friends. His children are also his closest companion. Dominic Brown’s height is 5 feet and 9 inches and earns a salary of approximately $100,000 a year. He participates in community work as a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
