Donni Wiggins Family, Daughter, and Relationships
She was born on 27th December 1978 in Massachusetts. Donni comes from a highly entrepreneurial family. She watched her father and relatives working and succeeding in their business. Her mother currently works as a counselor for war veterans. Aside from her job, Wiggins has a daughter called Deja Alexis born in a relationship that never matured into marriage.
Most relationships Donni found herself in did not favor her. Her college relationship was almost fatal by the time it was ending. Donni caught her college boyfriend cheating and broke up with him. Her ex became a stalker and aggressive toward her. One time, he kidnapped her and beat her while in his vehicle. Another time, her ex came loaded with a gun in college and shot at her but escaped when the police came. Donni had her next serious relationship after college when she was working in real estate but like her previous, it ended prematurely.
Growing up, Donni had the desire to become successful, In 11th grade, she fell in love with international model, Naomi Campbel, who immediately became her role model. This dream was quickly shuttered when she joined North Caroline State University for a degree in Chemical Engineering. In her junior year, she transferred to Clark University to stay away from her toxic boyfriend.
The Journey to Financial Freedom
Donni’s entrepreneurial journey started when she started a cleaning business with her friend in college. The business ended after she got a job in a property leasing company. While in the company, Donni got a boyfriend working in a Multilevel Marketing Company selling beverages. Wiggins reluctantly joined the business after her friend insisted. For 6 years, she worked in the MLM recruiting people and slowly rising the ladder.
Four years into the business, Donni felt the frustration of the business. Soon, she realized the politics of the business risked wiping all she had worked for. And, every time she left a company, she had to work her way to the top. The disadvantages of working in MLM led her to think of an exit strategy and going the entrepreneurial way was the best way.
In 2014, she started the Donni Wiggins Business Consultancy Company. She started getting clients from the people she had met during her time at the MLM. In 2017, she fully stopped working with the MLM company to focus on her consultancy company. Donni started working with small-scale entrepreneurs and soon multimillionaires started approaching her.
She took her business to Instagram to reach more people. Soon enough, her business had scaled attracting big businesses She started an online academy to educate entrepreneurs who wanted to reach 6 figures. She also offered one on one services to those who wanted her own services.
Donni later joined The Social Proof podcast as a co-host alongside Dave Shands. The podcast talks about strategies people can use to succeed in their business and personal lives. They have interviewed successful people like Wallstreet Trapper, and real estate guru Quiana Watson. Wiggins also started her own solo show on social proof called Full Transparency with Donni Wiggins where she goes deep with interviewees about their personal lives.
