Her profession grew and soared during the decade she served in the media house. She later joined WCVB-TV as a News Anchor and Reporter.
Her time as a journalist is bitter-sweer but her passion keeps her going. Brown once lost her apartment when covering one of the deadliest tornadoes in history. She has also covered national and international news such as George Floyd’s Murder, the trial of Ray Tensin, national elections, and the inauguration of former president Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden.
She is also an active member of the community passionate about mentoring young girls and encouraging them to pursue their dreams. Brown is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, where she participates in fighting for equal rights for black journalists.
