She applied and got a scholarship to study Electrical Engineering and a minor in quantum physics at the Gunma National College of Technology in Japan. She also studied the Japanese language from basic to advanced level. As a student, Kiana was made the editor and writer of the school’s magazine written in Japanese.
After graduating, Kiana worked as an analyst at CMO Worldwide Inc where she delivered Japanese and English interpretations. She also worked as a TV Commentator for Japan Broadcasting Corporation where she commented about social issues, women’s rights, political tensions, and current events.
She moved to the United States after getting a job on Wall Street. The young financial expert lived in a posh apartment in New York City with her boyfriend. Although she was living the American dream, Kian thought less about her finances until she was fired. She lost everything: her apartment and boyfriend who dumped her a week after she lost her job.
