Kim Perell is an American businesswoman, an angel investor, author, and CEO. She has invested in more than 60 companies and has employees from all over the world. Kim is also a sought-out speaker invited to multiple conferences to share her success story.
Perell and her small family lived in Portland, Oregon. She has a twin sister and an old brother, who were considered smarter than her since the IQ test showed that Kim was the least smart among the three. Twenty years later, Kim beat all odds that were against her. She built a multi-million organization and started her own family which has been an admiration by many.
Kim, 45, is married to her husband John, a pilot. Together, the couple is blessed with two pairs of twins. Having the children was never easy for the couple as they struggled with IVF for 7 years forcing them to turn to surrogacy.
In an interview with People, Kim described that having her first set of twins was difficult as well since the surrogate mom delivered them after 24 weeks. The twins were born with conditions that threatened their lives but they survived.
John and Elle, her first twins, celebrated their 8th birthday on 5th May 2022. Her second twin kids Billy and Jack celebrated their 3rd birthday on 22nd March 2022. John and Kim will be celebrating their 19th marriage anniversary on 2nd October 2022.

Kim went to college even after she was considered unsmart. She was active in college as she believed in her abilities. Kim pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration where she graduated magna cum laude. She also did her studies at
Perell’s career has been an interesting one. Her story is a perfect definition of the path to success. Kim started her career with great zeal and enthusiasm. She joined a start-up company called Xdrives Technology in 1999 as director of marketing and sales.
She generated over $9 million in advertising and recruited more than 10 million users for the company. Unfortunately, the company went bankrupt. Kim had to lay off everyone she had called to work for the company. Finally, she had to lay herself off.
At the age of 30, Kim took a $10,000 loan from her 80-year-old grandmother and started Frontline Direct. The company, which focused on Marketing grew exponentially. By 2005. Frontline Direct has revenue worth $10 million and $100 million by 2010.
Kim then merged her company with Adconion Media Group to become Adconion Direct, where Perell was the CEO and the first woman on the board. She then sold the company in 2014 to a Singapore Telecommunications Company at $235 million and became its president and later CEO in 2016.
After three years, Perell dropped her role as CEO of Amobee to pursue her new passion. She founded a 100.co in 2021. 100.co is a digital marketing company that creates brands using AI. Her company has worked with Sama.tea and Cayskin.com founded by celebrity Winnie Harlow.
