She decided to focus on anti-racism after her pastor prophesied that she would bridge the gap between Black and White.
Melton started a podcast called Shine Brighter Together. The aim of the podcast is to create a platform where people could talk about their different experiences. She did a response to the film when they see us and interviewed her son to encourage other people to engage in racist conversations with their children. The main aim of the podcast is to liberate black people in the United States.
