Rachel Cargle is an American writer, lecturer, and public academician. She is the president of the lovelandfoundation, a non-profit organization focused on increasing access to mental healthcare for women of color. Cargle is also a contributor to the New York Times, The Washington Post, The New Yorker, Forbes, and Essence.

She started the Loveland Foundation, a nonprofit organization centered on helping communities of color, particularly black women, in accessing mental health care institutions. The organization holds fellowships, residency programs, listening tours, and other social welfare programs aimed at uplifting black women.
