While at the Senate, she conducted research on the economy of Upstate New York and teen pregnancy in New York. She also accompanied Senator Clinton in various meetings and events.

Next, she went to work as a Legislative Assistant at Podesta Mattoon where she conducted and compiled legislative research on intellectual property and trade. The young intern also participated in coordinating political fundraisers and staff events. In December 2004, she started working as an Assistant to the Executive Director at the New York City Rescue Mission. She researched the homelessness situation in New York City and presented it to the Board of Trustees. Rachel participated in coordinating fundraising and special events.

In March 2006, she joined Vera Institute of Justice where she served as an assistant to the center director. There, she conducted and compiled research on sentencing and correction practices in New Mexico, Delaware, and Vermont. In August 2009, she worked as Judicial Law Clerk at NJ Superior Court where she earned a decent income of $41,000 per. Despite her salary, Rachel felt she could do more. She read two books  The 4-Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss and How To Start And Build A Law Practice by Jay G. Foonberg. which changed her mindest about building a business and making money.

Rachel started her first business called Her Virtual Law Office Inc. The aim of her business was to start a lucrative virtual law office. In September 2010, she started the Rodgers collection, which comprised forward-thinking attorneys and creatives. The Company was featured in Forbes, Washington Post, and MSNBC. The responsibility of the company was to advise entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners.

In August 2017, she founded Hello Seven. The company provided business training and legal services to entrepreneurs seeking to achieve specific financial goals.
