Although Onyi Moss was moving to the UK to get a job, she also moved there to find herself and connect with her identity. In her song, Miracle Man she opens up about being in an abusive relationship.
While on campus, she met up with a man who convinced her that he was a kind person. Time revealed that the man was toxic and physically abusive. Despite being abused privately and publicly, Onyi was unable to end the relationship.
One time she held her ground and ended the relationship but matters got worse. The man became an abusive stalker. After campus and at her job, he would stalk her to the point of storming her work place.
Onyi took a flight to the United Kingdom where he would flee from the man and have a quiet time with herself. It is when he was completely separated from the man that he began finding herself and her true passion. This peace and fulfillment inside of her led her to learn about her passion for fashion, music, and photography, which have now become her way of getting her bread.
