Later she revealed that Face Fitness routine was a skin care process stemming from a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique called Gua Sha. Gua Sha in Chinese means to scrape sand. The Chinese believe the skin has a matter called “qi” that might cause health issues if left unmoved on the skin. Gua Sha involves using a specific stone on the face and moving it gently on the face to remove the qi and release a new layer of the skin.
