Education and Career
Raphael grew up a confident child. Gravitating to media was natural because of this personality. He went to school at the University of Florida where he did a degree in Telecommunications.
After graduating, he got an opportunity to intern at WFTV Channel 9 ABC for three years. While he was still in college, Raphael worked part-time as a reporter for WUFT News for 3 years before he relocated to Traverse City, Michigan to work for WPBN as a reporter. He spent most of his time as a journalist at WSVN-TV News for 3 years after working 2 years in WLOS, Asheville. At the onset of 2022, he announced his departure from 7 News to WFTV in Orlando.
As a reporter, he has brought to light incidence such as the bus shooting in Broward County that led to the deaths of two people and two injuries. He also covered demonstrations in South Florida that were organized to support the people of Cuba. Raphael has also been involved in covering crime, politcs, elections, and other news that have national significance.
