Hannah learned from an early age to work hard for her own needs. As a high school student, she worked as a cashier at Forever 21. She later joined Anthony and Middlebrook as an Administrative Assistant who assisted in minor jobs such as typing and transcribing.
For 8 months, she worked as a Hostess and cashier at Babes Chicken Dinner Houses where she was responsible for keeping the finances of the restaurant in check.
While in college, she tried her hand as a leasing Agent for Roscoe Properties who gave tours to potential residents and signed leases upon agreement. Hannah was also responsible for administering the agency’s Facebook page.
While still in college, Hannah got an opportunity to work as a News Reporter and segment producer at KTSW-FM 89.9 where she delivered two newscasts a week She also helped in producing Going Global, a weekly segment on the show Other Side Drive.
Her first opportunity on Tv was when she interned at KXAN-TV as a reporter. She had the opportunity to cover North Austin sex assaults and SXSW coverage of former President Obama.
Her breakthrough opportunity came in 2016 when Nexstar Media Group called her for work. She started as a reporter for both CBS and ABC affiliates. Rucker also assisted in creating engaging content on social media and the website.
She later became an anchor for 6 shows and helped reporters to cover stories. In 2021, she was made a Daybreak Anchor at KVUE doing real-time traffic news and news on weekdays.
