When you serve God for a long time, God becomes your friend and He starts giving you discernment on issues concerning your life. They might not make sense in the beginning but they ultimately will make a lot of sense when you obey. This was the experience of Alex Seeley when she obeyed God’s call to move to the United States. From an executive pastor in Australia, now she is a lead pastor at The Belonging Co., a passionate communicator, a teacher of the world of God, and an author. All these began in the basement of her house.
Alex Seeley’s Age and Husband
Alex was born in 1973 in Australia in a Christian family. From a young age, she made it her decision to follow Jesus and serve the church with her gifts. During her work as a minister of the gospel, Alex met Henry Seeley who would later become her husband. They married on 19th April 1998 and are blessed with two children: Holly and Taylor Seeley.

For most of her life, Alex has served in the Church. Her dedication is to preach the gospel and make Jesus Christ known to the world. She became popular after serving for 17 years as an Executive pastor for the Planet Shakers. Planet Shakers started as a small worship movement but later progressed to one of the fastest-growing churches in Australia.
In 2009, Alex and Henry started a conversation about the possibility of leaving Australia for the United States. Alex described it as a calling from God. She felt it in her heart, God directing her to the United States for a mission she did not know about. In 2012, they made a decision to move to America. In an interview with Jessica Morris, Alex confessed that the first 6 months were difficult as they felt homesick. She felt the urge of going back to Australia but God assured her that she was doing the right thing.
Henry and Alex never thought of starting a church. In the words of Henry, ‘I had made a promise in my heart that ‘I’m never going to pastor a church.’ However, after settling in Nashville, they realized a number of people did not get an opportunity for church on Sundays due to their schedules. Being ministers of God, they started a fellowship to share the Word with these people. They started with 7 people and later grew to more than 100. By 2014, the number has grown between 100 to 130 in every service. After officially launching the Church, it grew fast, attracting over 3,000 attendees. They held services on Sunday and Tuesday nights.

10 years after settling in the United States, Alex and her husband have become a household name getting invitations to speak at other churches, conferences, and events. Her years in ministry have earned her mentorship responsibilities. In 2022, she started Paper Girl Curators, an initiative for women in leadership in sacred and secular places. It offers twelve-week classes that offer power instructions and conversations. She has also been a regular guest at Christian talk shows such as Better Together hosted by Laurie Crouch. Alex has also had the privilege of meeting other successful women in the gospel such as Stephanie Ike, Christine Caine, and Priscilla Shirer.
Over the course of her work together with her husband, they have done valuable work for the community, This has earned them a decent living. The family’s net worth could be approximately $10 million.
