Being raised in the United States, Melissa got fond of journalism and made it her adulthood ambition. The dream of becoming an anchor led her to join Miami Dade College where she pursued Mass Communications and Journalism. At College, she served as the Briefing Editor and reporter at the school’s media station, she wrote stories, assigned some, and oversaw the distribution of newspapers.
She later went to Boston University where she did BA in journalism. She graduated, worked for three years, and resumed school for a master’s in criminal justice at the Florida International University.
Adan started practicing journalism while in high school as an anchor and reporter for News. She was the anchor for the three years she was in school and had the opportunity to interview Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg. Adan also worked at Larry Rosen Productions where she was an intern.
