Melissa Adan, 29 or 30, is an American Bilingual reporter and anchor. She reports in English for NBC 7 and in Spanish for Telemundo 20 San Diego. Being raised in the United States, Melissa got fond of journalism and made it her adulthood ambition. The dream of becoming an anchor led her to join Miami Dade College where she pursued Mass Communications and Journalism. At College, she served as the Briefing Editor and reporter at the school’s media station, she wrote stories, assigned some, and oversaw the distribution of newspapers.
She later went to Boston University where she did BA in journalism. She graduated, worked for three years, and resumed school for a master’s in criminal justice at the Florida International University.
Adan started practicing journalism while in high school as an anchor and reporter for News. She was the anchor for the three years she was in school and had the opportunity to interview Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg. Adan also worked at Larry Rosen Productions where she was an intern. She assisted in producing and reporting two series of Jazz Roots Concerts. The young journalist did an interview with Dave Grusin, Phil Ramone, and other popular Jazz Roots Performers.

While in college she has the opportunity to intern at Univision Network where she assisted in gathering videos for packages and doing voiceovers. She also did Spanish-spoken interviews with politicians, local layers, and members of the community. Melissa was also instrumental in the production of Al Punto, a weekly political show hosted by Jorge Ramos.
In May 2012, Melissa joined CBS 4 Miami as an intern for WFOR. She served as a reporter and helped in conducting interviews on weekend shows. The journalist also conducted research for stories and pitched story ideas. On the side, she was working as an Online Editor for The Daily Free Press where she created social media and blog content. She assisted in the coverage of the Boston Marathon which injured the power couple Pete Dimartino and Rebekah Gregory.
After graduating from College, Melissa interned at CNBC in the production department where she published articles, did documentaries, and helped in the production of American Greed, a television series. In 2014, she started working at KLBK 13 News as a Weekend anchor and a general assignment reporter. She also assisted as a co-host for a lifestyle show called Trends and Friends. After working there for 2 years, Melissa joined NBC Universal Media as a news reporter and MMJ based in South Florida. After 2 years, she got promoted to bilingual general assignment reporter for Telemundo 20 and NBC 7.
