After graduating, Davis tried to fit into the corporate world only to be disappointed. He got fired from different jobs before choosing to be an entrepreneur. Together with his mother and twin sisters, Davis started selling fruits on a truck in West Philadelphia. Seeing the money they were making was a lot, Davis’ mother advised him to give back to the community. With his family, Davis took $50 and made sandwiches to feed the homeless. The idea of giving back to the community gave birth to a foundation, Nehemiah Davis Foundation.
The foundation grew from feeding the homeless to holding an annual Thanksgiving for the needy and giving going on peace rallies, diaper drives, and having free family fun days.
The foundation has taken 50 kids from Philly on a ski trip where they learned ski and snowboard lessons. In August 2023, the foundation gave free school supplies and free haircuts. They have also done community clean-ups.
