Olivia Lawrence, 22 or 23, is a journalist working as a meteorologist for WCBD. For the time she had been a weather specialist, Lawrence has demonstrated a passion to keep Americans updated with current weather patterns. This passion comes from the experiences she has had as a child. As of 2022, the young journalist has had previous experience working in the school news station.

Lawrence was born on 4th August 2000/99. She grew up in New Jersey with her two parents and brother Trevor T Lawrence. In an interview, Olivia confessed that she has had trouble explaining to people that her brother, who also plays football, is not Trevor Lawrence the famous football quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League. Since she is young, Olivia has opted to remain single rather than be in a relationship. Her main aim is to thrive in her career.

Becoming a meteorologist was organic to Olivia. She grew up in a state where storms and hurricanes were common. She remembers previous like Hurricane Sandy, which devastated their areas, felling trees and causing power outages in schools for close to three weeks. These experiences triggered a desire to want to learn about weather conditions and inform people to ensure adequate preparation.
She went to Pennsylvania State University where she did a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. As a student, she involved herself in sports and in societies linked to her studies. This prepared her with the skills she would need for her job.
After graduating, Olivia had to go through the hustle of looking for a job. However, after uploading a short video of the experiences she has had as a student, media stations started reaching out and offering job opportunities. She chose WCBD and made it her next destination. In November 2021, the media station officially announced her arrival and made her part of Storm Team 2. She would also help the station in other works and collaborate with newscasts such as Amaris Jenkins.
For the short time, Olivia has been working, she has done coverage on severe weather patterns that have been happening in the country. She followed and covered Hurricane Ian.
Olivia has been fervent in updating Charleston residents about weather patterns in the area. During Christmas, she updated them on the bitter cold to arrive, and signs of a tornado seen in Walterboro.

She also participates in community work. She was involved in a student philanthropy marathon aimed at raising awareness and funds for Four Diamonds Foundation which is helping children battle childhood cancer.
Outside work, Lawrence loves spending time outside the house since the weather in South Carolina is warmer compared to New Jersey. She loves the beach and traveling with friends. Olivia is also a lover of fashion and never shied from wearing sundresses, rompers, and bikinis when she is outside work.
