Tenisha Williams Biography

Tenisha Williams believed in her future even if it was a pipe dream. The vision she had about her future encouraged her to work hard, stay focused and continually build herself. Right now, she is the Founder of Elite Realty Partner, the richest black-owned and woman-owned firm in South Florida.

The company soared to $100 million in the first two years and later to $200 million in the following year. The glamour she portrays on Instagram is a depiction of the success she enjoys but it was not always so.

Tenisha was born on 5th April 1985. She was not accustomed to much but she had the passion to pursue what she loved. At 15 years, Tenisha got into a relationship that led to the birth of her firstborn daughter. The experience almost discouraged her from pursuing her career but her guts were stronger than her fears.

She also had the courage to start a family regardless of her situation Tenisha. She got married to Darell Williams, her business partner in 2011, and together, they have four children.

Building Elite Realty Partners

With her young daughter, she joined Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where she did a degree in criminal justice because she wanted to be a lawyer. In 2010, she got a job as a Correctional Officer in Miami Dade.

While doing her job, she quickly realized serving as a correctional officer was not her dream. Together with her husband, they made a decision to look for something that would fulfill their innermost desires. Tenisha took 7 days off from work to study real estate. After the study, she got a confirmation of starting the business.

She bought her first property with her husband and worked part-time as a real estate agent. Her first client was a co-worker, who urgently needed a house because she was pregnant. After securing the deal, Tenisha was certain that she was called to do real estate.

In 2015, she quit her job and worked full-time as a licensed realtor. In December 2018, she started Elite Realty Partners. Together with her husband, they built the business from the ground up. Now 4 years into the business, they have sold over 490 million worth of property. She also started an online program called Build With Tenisha where she educates people on how to succeed in the real estate business.

Her rise to sales worth half a billion has made Tenisha an internet sensation. Her story has been featured on Yahoo Finance, Sheen, Black Enterprise, and Go Home TV. She was listed by the Miami Association of Realtors as among the Top 20 under-40 realtors. Tenisha also uses her Instagram influence to advertise her business.
